SCTE CTAM Golf Classic Committee UPDATE

All,

Based on the weather forecast which has been consistent from multiple sources we have made the decision to rescheduled the 13th Annual SCTE CTAM Golf Classic until Monday, September 12th at 9AM at Wayland Country Club. We were going to wait until tomorrow morning to make the call but wanted to be considerate to those that are traveling into the area from out of state.

Please help us out and contact the members of your foursome to let them know the event has been rescheduled.

Please send me any changes to your foursome for the new date to 2011golfclassic@comcast.net

This is our 13th year and the first time we had to reschedule, we apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing everyone on the 12th.

Thank you,

SCTE CTAM Golf Classic Committee

From: Joseph Cutrona, Jr, Board of Directors, Election Committee Chair
To: SCTE New England Chapter Members

Dear SCTE Member,

It’s that time of year again when the New England Chapter holds its’ Annual Election for 6 open seats on the Board of Directors. Being part of the SCTE Board of Directors is a rewarding experience for all who participate.

SCTE Chapters provide local networking, professional development and certification opportunities to SCTE current and prospective members in over 68 locations across the globe. SCTE Chapter leaders are some of the most active in the Society and are dedicated to educating broadband technicians and engineers on the latest technologies and leadership skills necessary to be successful in an ever changing career.

What to expect from the New England Chapter
The New England Chapter Board is made up of outstanding individuals dedicated to their own careers as well as the careers of others they work with daily. An incoming Board member’s experience is rather predictable. He or she will likely be teamed with other Board members to work on Professional Development to arrange seminars, events and trainings, work on Membership growth, on the Outreach Committee to share the SCTE experience, and/or work on our Newsletter, Website and marketing opportunities through our Communications and Marketing Committee(s).

To get involved in the New England Chapter, in a word document, send your biography to jcutrona@comcast.net for placement in the election ballot. You must be an active SCTE member and include your membership number in your application. You will want to tell all the chapter members about yourself and how you can to contribute to the career advancement of hundreds of industry technicians and engineers. Don’t be shy and reach for sky. Take control of your career advancement.

Please send your biography to jcutrona@comcast.net before December 15, 2010 to be considered for the 2011 Board of Directors. Elections will take place from Dec 20, 2010 to Jan 14, 2011. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at 203.488.6485 or by email jcutrona@comcast.net.
